as independent human beings most of us struggle with accepting grace, I know for me, I am a "good girl" I have to do everything right or else I am a failure, approval is everything. maybe some of you feel the same way? we listen to the demanding voice of the "good girl" instead of the grace filled voice of our Lord Jesus Christ. W"e make being a model "good girl", even "good Christian" an IDOL in our life. This is sin when we place anything, even good things like trying to be good or a "good christian" above Christ, it is sin. The prayer focus for today, is to thank God for His grace, realizing that we cannot ever do anything to deserve God's grace but that it is a free gift, accept God's grace with humble hearts and open hands and ask God to help us to live in the FREEDOM that comes from Christ and Christ alone.
